not sure what to put lol.

My name’s Ellen Swarbrick, I’m 15 and i live in a relatively large town called Wilmslow just outside Manchester. To say i have hobbies would be a lie… i literally do nothing all day.

At school I’m studying maths , english lit, english lang (compulsory), chemistry, biology, physics, german, history and geography (optional+piss easy).

I don’t really have a busy social life, i’m friends with people who i like and if i miss out on a party or something i’m not fussed. I go out occasionally, other than that i just stay in and sit on tumblr…interesting i know.

What do i want to be when i’m older? Now that’s a question.. For me, thinking about my future is a scary prospect. However, when i was in primary school it’s all i could think about! I was determined to be a popstar; writing my own songs everyday. Very deep, insightful lyrics such as: “lonely, lonely, that’s my name” and “99% girl, 1% boy”. When i got to the age of about 10, i saw my songs for what they were- shit. Thinking back, maybe a lyricist’s life wasn’t for me.

In fact, in year 9, i couldn’t wait to drop the agonizingly boring subject of music. I instead decided to take a more academic root, with history and triple science.

At this moment in time my chosen career path is medicine; although i am sure it will change soon due to the fact i am slowly crumbling under pressure regarding my science coursework. Oh, and i don’t have a clue what to take for A-level. Basically, i don’t really care what job i end up in. I just want two things: to make a difference (cheesy i know) and to make money (it doesn’t grow on trees you know!)

Fortunately, unlike many people, my parents are willing to pay for my university fees. So to uni i will go, Oxbridge hopefully!

I like to think i take good pictures, but really i’m just a girl who got given a big camera.

yogberries is my life… i love piercing ears (please tell me if you want me to do them) and i live for serial killer stories and non-fiction books on psycopathy.

As regards to my music taste, it’s changed a lot. In primary school i lived for the charts (ofc), then, as everyone else did, i got into the wombats and two door cinema club who i still enjoy now. When i got tumblr suddenly hip hop and rnb was all i was listening to, but I’ve realized recently that i don’t need to love Tyler the Creator and Kanye West to be a good blog ( although i like them still lol). My playlist represents well what my favourite songs and artists are - it’s what I’ve been listening to for my whole life, my parents taste in music. So sorry if you don’t like it but there’s a pause button if you need it :)
